Making full use of his sprawling facility in Nicaragua, Pepin has created yet another masterpiece titled Tabacos Baez. While the composition of this new blend is fairly familiar to Pepin fans, with a solid Nicaraguan binder/filler core and an oily Connecticut wrapper, the taste is a complete deviation from what followers would call the "Pepin profile." Only the slightest spice is apparent in the nose as you smoke these medium-bodied cigars, with a cool creaminess on the tongue followed by a sweet, chocolaty finish.
