The new 2009 Liberty is the latest edition blended by Christian Eiroa as an attempt to out do the 2005 Liberty, which is commonly regarded as the best year to date. This particular issue was offered with much anticipation as they were made in October 2007 using their one and only crop of Habano, a seed that has not been grown since and only yielded enough for a small amount of cigars.

The Liberty 2009 is crafted into an 11/18 size (6 x 54) figurado. Each cigar comes wrapped in tissue paper and is enclosed inside individual Spanish cedar coffins. 20 coffins are set inside a large, humidor-quality Spanish cedar chest that has been individually numbered. 40,000 cigars were produced yielding just 2.000 chests in all.
